Warhorse Studios is a video game developer founded in 2011 by a group of intrepid gaming industry veterans. The studio is best known for its acclaimed title, Kingdom Come: Deliverance - a gritty, medieval, combat-based RPG set in a realistic historical environment. Warhorse comprises over 240 enthusiastic professionals, including developers, programmers, designers, graphic artists, animators, testers, and various other specialists. With Warhorse's rapid growth, the studio always stays on the lookout for talented individuals who share their passion.
We are looking for a programmer who does not necessarily have experience in professional game development but has the desire and drive to participate in the development of such. The job is suited especially to a recent college graduate and offers an opportunity for long-term career advancement and work on a worldwide successful videogame.
Requirements
- Knowledge of programming in C/C++ and object design
- Positive approach and communicativeness
- Logical thinking
- Ability and willingness to learn new things
- Good English language skills
- Proficient in Czech language
Nice to have
- Experience in teamwork on a game project, even amateur and/or unfinished
- Knowledge of the MS Visual Studio environment (editor, debugger, profiler)
- Knowledge of 3D math
- Experience in scripting languages (ideally Lua)
- Good familiarity with games (ideally RPGs)
- Experience with version-control tools (Perforce, SVN, Mercurial etc.)
